The holiday season has been a up and down race to get flooring goods installed for customers before the holiday guest arrive. I had the thanks giving rush and look forward to the Christmas and New Years crunch. Flooring is part of the construction trade and it usually dies down after the new year begins. What I call the famine times. Dose anybody out there have Ideas for side work that construction trade people can look into to hold them over until the spending begins again?

How has the economy affected You!

Being self employed in the flooring trade in this economy has been challenging for many installers. Some flooring installers have taken on non flooring related jobs to make ends meet. I have seen wages for Carpet installers move only by $1.00 per yard in 20 years. I’d like to here your feedback as to possible reasons why.
